FlyRulebook is an independent resource that helps travelers understand airline baggage fees and policies before they book or fly. Airfare looks cheap until the bag fees, seat charges, and change penalties pile up — we lay out exactly what each airline charges so there are no surprises at the gate.

What we do

For each airline we explain the free personal item, carry-on rules, checked bag fees, change & cancellation policies, and other common fees (seats, pets), plus practical tips to pay less. Every guide is built to be scanned in seconds.

How we research

Our guides are based on each airline's official fee pages and publicly available information, and we link to those sources. Airline fees change frequently and vary by route, fare, and date, so we date every guide and update them as policies change.
